Ian Taylor executed a comprehensive import logistics of a Caterpillar AP500E paver in Peru for a company specialising in geotechnical engineering, pavements and environmental engineering materials.

The cargo was shipped from the port of Riga in Latvia to the port of Callao in a flat rack container, which is designed for heavy loads or loads that cannot be transported in a standard container. Inside the container, the correct lashing was carried out to avoid any displacement during transport, and then it was taken to its destination.

According to Rocio Ponce, Country Manager of Ian Taylor in Peru, “our collaborators are prepared to meet any export needs of our customers who need to move these types of loads that require these special flat rack containers, a type of transport that we have been working constantly during these months to meet the requirements requested”.
