Ian Taylor successfully completed the agency and operational coordination of the MN Century Emerald, which sailed from the Port of Arica on May 16 carrying a total of 8.147 tonnes of Bolivian bulk sugar cargo bound for Savannah, United States.
The loading operation was completed safely, efficiently and within the planned schedule, supported by constant on-site supervision from the Ian Taylor Arica team and continuous coordination among all parties involved throughout the operation.
Executed through Terminal Puerto Arica (TPA), this export forms part of the so-called “American quota” programme, a type of operation that requires strict documentary compliance, precise logistics coordination and seamless execution between shipowners, terminal operators and Bolivian exporters.
The successful completion of this shipment further reinforces Ian Taylor’s growing positioning in bulk carrier agency services linked to Bolivian exports through northern Chile.
In addition to the operational coordination in Arica, Ian Taylor’s office in Santa Cruz, Bolivia, continues supporting the documentary and logistics processes associated with the cargo, helping optimise timelines for exporters through close and personalised service.
Ian Taylor has now successfully handled the latest bulk sugar export vessels operating through TPA, strengthening its presence in the Bolivian export logistics market and supporting future opportunities related to sugar, grains, soybean products and other bulk commodities moving through the Port of Arica.
