Ian Taylor is proud to be coordinating the agency and port operations of two of the world’s largest factory fishing vessels: the Maartje Theadora and the Annelies Ilena.

Following the successful completion of operations for the Maartje Theadora, operations for the Annelies Ilena are now underway at the Port of Iquique, further demonstrating our team’s expertise in managing highly specialised vessel calls and complex port operations.

The Maartje Theadora marked the beginning of factory fishing vessel operations at the Port of Iquique, involving the discharge and logistics coordination of approximately 4,750 tonnes of frozen Chilean jack mackerel, consolidated into around 180 refrigerated containers destined for international markets.

Now berthed at EPI Terminal, Berth 1, the Annelies Ilena is discharging more than 4.5 million kilograms of frozen seafood, including Chilean jack mackerel, chub mackerel, jumbo flying squid and other pelagic species, with Ian Taylor providing full vessel agency services throughout the port call.

These operations showcase Ian Taylor’s ability to coordinate complex port calls for some of the world’s largest fishing vessels, delivering safe, efficient and reliable maritime services while working seamlessly with port authorities, terminal operators and all stakeholders involved
